As the Kitchen Manager at Ludington Meat Company (LMC), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the culinary operations of our establishment. We are seeking a dedicated individual with experience in kitchen management to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and staff supervision.
Oversee kitchen staff, schedules, and workflow to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of supplies.
Collaborate with the management team to develop menu items and specials.
Train and mentor kitchen staff to uphold excellence in food preparation and presentation.
Handle any kitchen-related issues or customer feedback promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
Previous experience in kitchen management is necessary.
Availability to work 40+ hours a week, including weekends and nights as required.
Culinary arts background is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a kitchen team.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
